What I'm saying is, you can't compare a team like the '85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, or even the '86 Giants to teams of today. With FA, Sal. Cap, and the way contracts started being structured since 2011, it is nearly impossible to see teams like that again. The one exception being the 2013 Seahawks. So it's not impossible.
In today's game it's much harder to make up for your bad QB with the talent around him. You just don't see teams with QBs that don't contribute much to a team's success making it to the SB anymore. Teams do the opposite. They pay the QB in hopes he'll elevate the rest of the team.
