So far in 1887 he is 9-6 4.04 and a WAR of 1.7.
He's given up almost as many homer runs as he did in 1886.

But he also has Sam Thompson, Deacon White, Ned Hanlon,
Charlie Bennet and Dan Brouthers on the 1887 Detroit Wolverines.
