I've been through this before but would love a reminder! If I non-tender a player that is not yet eligible for minor league free agency, will they become a free agent (as the game's popup warns) or will they renew? And if they renew, do they renew at the same salary, or on a minor league contract? I have several non-tender candidates in an online league that would all be do for humble raises I don't want to give them. I would just cut them to be sure, but:
1. If they renew on milb contracts I want to keep them
2. If they hit free agency I'd like to offer them option contracts, and releasing them will burn that bridge.
