KC Top Prospects
There is a bit of a gap in the Royals system between almost ready players – seven across the MLB and AAA rosters – and low level players – 12 across the Rookie and A ball levels.
This will, therefore, be an important year for those lower level players to continue to progress in order to be at the AA/AAA level starting 2039.
MLB Top Prospects
It should be another exciting year for baseball with five of the top 16 prospects starting in MLB, including the top two players, both infielders. Trade acquisition Joe Davis is the Royals lone representative.
MLB Farm Systems
The Royals system deep with 20 players in the top 250, and 5 in the top 100, but lacks real star quality at the moment.
