It's a pity OOTP no longer supports the 1985-2006 free agency system, even though versions prior to 2007 included the basics of it. (OOTP never recreated the 1976-1980 and 1981-1984 free agency systems. But in my view OOTP should model all the free agency systems so users can try them all out.)
