Bear in mind that ""neutral, modern Major League environment" is base on the 2010 season.
League totals for 2024 have changed just a bit since then so it'll never be a close match.
Auto Cal modifiers are your only solution.
I run a league with even more inflated talent and this is the only way to bring player totals in line.
Even then it's always a battle to get the totals right. Even more so if Pitcher Stamina is above normal
