Coldest move as a GM
As we come up to Christmas I started thinking about all the nice things in life but then also about the coldest move made as a GM.
I signed a guy to a minor league deal that converted to a Major League deal worth $1.5 million if promoted within 30 days of the season starting. He gets hurt 2 days into spring training and instead of sending to the IL I just cut him. Sorry dude, my GM heart is made of pure ice.
Anyway, does anyone else have some "cold" moves you've made as a GM?
