I have a similar question.

My OF was voted into his first all-star game but has a day-to-day injury of "calf soreness" with minimal effect on running and only a day from being healed on the day of the all-star game. When I click on the AL roster, I see him on there and injured, so I go into commish mode, change the days remaining to zero, move the injury to history, and he's no longer injured.

But when I go to play the actual all-star game, he's still not on the list of available players, even though he's listed on the roster.

I think the game makes decisions on injury availability based on the Sunday before when rosters are announced. You can see in the roster announcement e-mail that it says "(injured)" by the player and it looks like an additional player gets added as a substitute. So as things stand now, I'm not sure it's possible to edit a player's availability for the game once the rosters are determined on that Sunday. If you were going to edit player injuries to make someone with a minor day-to-day available for Tuesday, you'd have to do it on Saturday before moving forward to Sunday.

Can the developers confirm that there's nothing we as players can do (even in commish mode) to make an injured player available? If not, it would be nice to have that ability in a future version.
