I've even tried to manually copy players over to a new save to keep the continuum going. We want to go for generations. (This is absolutely nothing against the game, it's our favorite game to play, obviously ❤️)

If you're not opposed to it, I would suggest maybe creating a custom game and import the leagues the you want. Another option would be to run a historical close to Modern Day and keep going.
