I've seen it too with soft tissue injuries. I like how this works in the game and wouldn't look in the editor, unless, as I think you did, to figure out if it might be a bug.

One thing about the IL is if you put him on there, even at a later date, it should be retroactive and start the IL time at the date of the injury, not the time you place him on the list.
