John Sowders Dominates in Shutout Victory Over Columbus Bandits
John Sowders was in top form today as he led the Baltimore Barons to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Columbus Bandits at Bandits Ballpark.
The 29-year-old right-hander was unhittable for most of the game, allowing only 5 hits while fanning 1 and walking 2 in his complete-game performance.
"It’s hard not to go home happy after a game like that," Sowders said following his dominant outing.
With the win, Sowders improved to 3-1 on the season and now boasts a sparkling 1.93 ERA.
