Truly the end of an era! Even though it's been expected for some time now, it doesn't make it any more sad. OOTP is easily my favorite game and I can't begin to express enough gratitude towards the game you built from the ground up.
One thing that has to be said though, and I'm not sure enough people know it, but how much great work the rest of the dev team has been doing. Your baby is left in the truly wonderful and capable hands, and I'm excited and confident for the future of the game! I mean, the fact you're comfortable stepping away is such a glowing review on the rest of the team. It's amazing how far the game has come, and I know there's so much more we'll get to enjoy!
Markus, you've stolen away thousands of hours of my life and I couldn't be happier about it! Now's your time to ride off in the sunset, enjoy whatever is out there for you, and reap the rewards that this groundbreaking and gold standard sports sim has brought in.
