Will Calihan Dominates in Shutout Victory
Will Calihan of the Columbus Bandits delivered an outstanding performance, shutting out the Washington Americans in a 2-0 victory. Calihan limited the Americans to just 4 hits, striking out 4 batters and issuing no walks during the complete-game effort.
“I had my good stuff and it went where I wanted it to go,” Calihan told BNN reporters following the game.
This season, Calihan has been a consistent force on the mound, with 31 starts and 260.2 innings pitched. He has recorded 69 strikeouts and 93 walks, holding a remarkable record of 22 wins and 7 losses and maintaining a 3.35 ERA.
