Buck Gladmon to Miss 3-4 Weeks After Spraining Elbow in Bears’ Loss
The Boston Bears will be without third baseman Buck Gladmon for the next 3-4 weeks after he sprained his elbow during today’s 9-1 loss to the Chicago Cardinals.
Gladmon, who has been a regular starter for the Bears this season, has struggled at the plate, hitting .219 with 11 runs and 16 RBIs. His absence will leave a hole in the Bears' lineup as they try to recover from the tough defeat.
The team is hopeful that Gladmon will make a full recovery during his time on the injured list.
