A few suggestions for PT in OOTP 26
1. A sticky on the pull down options for Tournament Rankings.
If I change from looking at *2* Iron Standings, to *3* Bronze Standings, the other options I have selected should not change. This is a minor change that would decrease annoyance level.
2. Combinator Mechanics change:
Go to a random crafting system instead of a prescribed crafting system.
Right now the crafting system requires you to buy or draw a level 0 combinator of a particular card and then use crafting to level up that particular card.
I would suggest a crafting system that allows you to trade a fixed number of base cards for a randomly generated level 0 card (that you may or may not want.) If you want it, keep it, if you don't you can collect a fixed number of level 0 cards to trade in for a randomly generated level 1 card, and so on.
My idea would be for this to be done by tier: The numbers needed for a trade at each level could obviously be tweaked.
At Perfect: 2 for 1 trading in tiers 0-2 and 3 for 1 trading for tiers 3-5 (20k*3^3*2^3 = 4.3 M PP for a level 5 Perfect)
At Diamond: 2 for 1 trading for tiers 0-1 and 3 for 1 trading for tiers 2-5; (4k * 2^2 * 3^4 = 1.3M PP for a level 5 Diamond)
At Gold: 3 for 1 trading: (1k * 3^6 = 729k PP for a level 5 Gold)
At Silver 3 for 1 trading (100 * 3^6 = 72.9 k PP for a level 5 Silver)
At Bronze: 3 for 1 trading (25 * 3^6 = 18.2 k PP for a level 5 Bronze)
At Iron: 3 for 1 trading (5 * 3^6 = 3645 PP for a level 5 Iron)
