Almost...
The Rays had a decent chance to pull off the sweep but came up just short, so we'll play a Game 5 tomorrow at the Trop. Former Ray Luis German was a tough customer and he kept the Rays in check until they tied it in the 6th on an RBI single from
Adley Rutschman, and after New York went back ahead in the 7th
Victor Mesa came through with his third homer in two games to tie it again in the 8th. Finally closer
Randy Rodriguez, having a very tough postseason, gave up a homer in the 9th to put the Yankees on top once again and although they loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the inning
Marco Luciano (who was in because
Isaac Cedillos was pinch-hit for in the 8th) flied to shallow left and
Nelson Haro grounded out to end the game.
Aldry Acosta will be on the hill for Tampa Bay tomorrow.
