Buck Freeman Extends Hitting Streak to 30 Games Despite Rebels’ Loss
Buck Freeman, the left fielder for the Boston Rebels, continues to impress with his hot bat, extending his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games despite his team’s 4-2 loss to the Bandits. Freeman went 2-for-3 in the contest, showcasing his skill at the plate.
In today’s game, Freeman walked in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, and then delivered an RBI double in the 5th inning. He added a single in the 7th before grounding out in the 8th. “I’m trying not to think about it much,” he remarked after the game. “I don’t want to mess with whatever zone I’m in.”
So far this season, Freeman is batting .355 with 10 home runs, 94 RBIs, and 98 runs scored, along with a .393 on-base percentage.
Stump Wiedman Shuts Down Cardinals in 13-0 Blowout
