Billy Hamilton had a standout performance for the Philadelphia Thunder, going 5-for-6 at the plate, but it wasn't enough to secure a win as the Boston Bears emerged victorious, 9-8, at Bears Field. Despite Hamilton's efforts, the Thunder fell just short in a back-and-forth contest.

The 30-year-old left fielder showed his prowess with the bat, hitting five singles and driving in a run. Hamilton flied out in the 1st inning but then collected hits in the 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 10th innings, including an RBI single in the 5th.

"I felt real good in the batter's box," Hamilton said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Hamilton's strong season continues as he is now hitting .328 with 1 home run, 26 RBIs, and 32 runs scored. Despite his individual success, the Thunder will be looking to bounce back after the tough loss.
