While there is some resemblance, as shown below in the
1894 Petersburg team photo,
Foreman (5) and Stafford (8) are, in fact, different people. The attached cabinet photo of Foreman also provides a clearer view of his distinctly detached left earlobe, in comparison to Stafford's clearly attached lobe.
The Stafford photo was supplied to B-R long ago, at a time when one-game major leaguer
