The Peaches fought to the bitter end to extend the series with a tight 10-8 win at Baseball Plaza to take the series to a decisive 7th game. at Shanghai right fielder Koi-sho Hsi once again came up big, and was the catalyst for his side’s win. He was 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 in an outing that saw him roaring at the crowd on many an occasion. Zhou, Palmer and Ponce all hit home runs too for the Peaches, while Sekla Karuma hit one for the Tartans. It was in the 8th inning that the Peaches pulled away just enough to win, with Palmer’s solo home run bringing jubilation to the travelling contingent. Kasakh starter Pavlusha Okulsky was probably the happiest with the win, as his side saved his blushes over a disastrous start, giving up 6 runs in just 3 innings. 4 relievers took the remaining innings, giving up just 4, but most importantly the Peaches offense was firing on all cylinders.
