The goalie start percentages were fixed in FHM10 weren't they? Towards the latter half of the game cycle Jeff implemented some new more stringent logic to iron that out - as far as I have seen from my games and from multiple reports at the time for people - that ironed out those issues. If you were still seeing those then it's probably worth making a report on the tech support forum with screenshots/examples etc so they can take a look. You can read other users testimony on that here, from page 2 onwards people report post fix that things improved greatly -

In terms of how to stop your graphics from being overwritten - don't store it in the quickstart folders, those will always be overwritten when a new patch is released, it's just how that works. Your other two options are
A) Store the graphics in each unique save you create, this can be costly if you have a lot of saves going because they are each a full copy of all the graphics you have.
B) I have created two 'master' graphics folders for FHM, one for Historical and one for Modern which I keep on my desktop - this is where I do all of my updates to graphics that I want to use with my games. I've created a tiny batch script that you can run by double clicking on it and selecting one of your saves, it will then create a Symlink between the save you have selected and your master graphics folders - essentially it pulls all of the graphics from your master folders on your desktop, without you having to actually store them in the same directory as the save game, like you would usually.
I did create a short written tutorial (with pictures) on how to implement this that I shared with a couple of guys on the Discord, if that's something you'd be interested in I'd be happy to share it. Using that method really made a difference when it came to managing my graphics with FHM as the constant overwriting was frustrating but cannot be prevented. A universal graphics folder provided by the game is still on my wishlist - maybe one day!
