The Hares are on a much needed winning streak to finish the season, extending it to 6 with a great 7-2 win over Budapest. Marinello also put together a solid outing, giving up 2 runs in 6 innings.
It was left fielder Kolya Saetgaliev‘s only hit that pulled the Hares ahead though, a 2 run home run in the bottom of the third, his 30th, which put Sheffield up 3-1.

In a game that looked sure to go to extra-innings, the Hares managed to pull out a 1-0 win at the bottom of the 9th, much to the jubilation of the fans, who were in high spirits as the Hares kept the winning streak alive. Alois Herzog and the pitching core were in fine form, giving up exactly nothing to the Red Squirrels. Pinch hitter Jose Garay came up clutch delivering the run-scoring single to win the game.
