It's not a major award, there is no trophy awarded for it. It gets noted in the player and league history.

I guess 'major award' is subjective. I consider it as important an annual award as the weekly awards that show up under the upper left Accomplishments, where it sums the number of time something has been won by the player. Not of all those have trophies, either; it mixes them. I actually would like an icon by the player's image denoting that he was a Triple Crown winner.
