Barons find gold

Finishing out a homestand in Cleveland, the Barons faced four NHL opponents.

11/11: MTL 3, CLE 0; Goals- MTL: Harvey (1), Lach (9), Richard (17, EN); A- 8,202

The Barons play well, but are doubled in shots and allow a late empty netter as they stay off the board.

11/13: NYR 2, CLE 2; Goals- NYR: Gardner (6), Lamirande (1); CLE: Kuusela (3, PP), Carnegie (4); A- 8,519

The Barons continue their good play against New York with a 2-2 tie.

11/14: CLE 4, NYR 3; Goals- NYR: Leswick (3), Warwick (7), O'Connor (12); CLE: DeMarco (3), Smith (6), Kobussen (1), Colville (7); A- 8,937

The Barons jump on the Rangers early with 3 goals in the first 35 minutes, but the New Yorkers make a quick come back and the Barons had to hold on with the good goalie play of Johnny Bower to win.

All of the Barons points so far have been against the Rangers.

11/17: CHI 5, CLE 0; Goals- CHI: Kaleta (1, PP), Baldwin 2 (7, PP), Prystai (5), Mosienko (18); A- 8,065

The Black Hawks take advantage of 3 power play goals to blow out the Barons at Cleveland Arena. Cleveland is limited to just 13 shots on goal.
