The Barons continued their first month of National Hockey League play, facing the Rangers on the road before starting a home stand.

10/31: NYR 6, CLE 0; Goals- Hextall 2 (6), Lancien (1), Leswick (1), O'Connor (8), Watson (2); A- 15,898

The Barons get shut out on Halloween night by a game Rangers team who limit them to 13 shots.

11/1: CLE 2, NYR 2; Goals- CLE: Kane (1), Carnegie (2); NYR: Trudell (1), O'Connor (9); A- 8,526

After getting shut out the night before, the Barons come home to Cleveland and tie the Rangers with Johnny Bower in goal.

11/4: CLE 5, NYR 3; Goals- CLE: DeMarco (2), Reardon 2 (3), Porteous (2), Martin (1, EN); NYR: Russell (2), Moe (2), Gardner (4); A- 8,408

In the 3rd game in a row playing New York, the Barons play their best game of the season at home, scoring with 1:53 left to take the lead.

The Barons sell out for the first time in their history against a streaking Leafs team, cutting the deficit to 1 with under 10 to go, but they allow an empty net goal as time expires.
