I had a whole post thought up about how the Mets had gotten no-hit by Charlton Heston in 2015 and then won a pennant, and now they had gotten no-hit by LastName FirstName and were surely gonna win another pennant, right? ...and then Lindor humps a pompous homer to lead off the ninth to take it all away and ruin the chance at the pennant.
