Foley Shuts Down Brooklyn in 11-0 St. Louis Victory
Curry Foley of the St. Louis Roughnecks delivered a solid performance today, leading his team to an 11-0 shutout against the Brooklyn Hitmen. While Foley allowed 6 walks, he gave up just 4 hits and struck out 3 in the commanding win.
"Curry is good at getting out of jams," said Roughnecks manager Billy Arnold. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or falls behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
Foley continues to be a key contributor for the Roughnecks both on the mound and at the plate, where he's hitting .263 this season.
