Orr Extends Hitting Streak to 25 Games in Louisville's 6-1 Loss
Despite the Louisville Captains' 6-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Predators, first baseman Dave Orr continued his impressive hitting streak at Captains Ballpark. Orr went 2-for-5 in today's contest, extending his hitting streak to 25 games.
"Orr was hitting everything we threw at him," said Pittsburgh manager Justin Serafine. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win."
Orr flied out in the 1st and 6th, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 8th, and added an RBI single in the 9th. The first baseman is now batting .385 with 17 RBIs this season.
