Harry Stovey had a remarkable day at the plate as the Washington Americans defeated the Philadelphia Stallions 11-3 at Stallions Park. Stovey went 5-for-6 with a home run, a double, and four RBIs, showcasing his offensive prowess.

"Guys, it's just one game in a long season," Stovey said modestly after the game. "I hit it hard and found some holes. Five hits in six tries. But my hits are not the big thing in the game. The victory is the important thing. That's the story."

Stovey’s performance included a single in the 1st inning, a double in the 4th, a three-run home run off Dupee Shaw in the 6th, a solo shot off Ed Stein in the 8th, and an RBI single in the 9th. His efforts contributed significantly to the Americans' offensive explosion.

This season, Stovey is hitting .345 with four home runs, 18 RBIs, and 17 runs scored. With 48 hits in 139 at-bats, he continues to be a key player for the Americans and a formidable presence at the plate.
