You're not saying it is only happening to you, so that's good. As to systemic algorithms that engineer as you are suggesting, maybe it's true (or not). But, as long as it is the same across the board then it is what it is.
I get though, that you might just be curious as to others noticing the patterns you are suggesting. My mindset is I do not trust anything implicitly especially when money is involved (on all sides).
OOTP (and PT) is astonishingly a beautiful game and the less money you spend on it the less those swoons impact you.
