Suggestion: optional daily roundup.

A nice feature (maybe in the main game first, then in GO later) would be an option within ‘finish today’ to produce a daily roundup of highlights to check out. Options might include:

—scope (all games, my league only, my division only, division leaders only, division leaders and wild-card contenders only)
—detail level (all run-scoring plays or only tying or lead changing runs, include all HRs(yes/no), milestone stats events (yes/no), unusual plays and injuries (yes/no) )
—format (show on normal screen, or post to dailyroundup.html replacing yesterday’s file (or appending the date and saving them all), with text and embedded video of highlights)

GO sort of lets you do this from the scores screen and you can hide the scores and view each game’s highlights, but the level of detail is a bit strange, often including inning-ending grounders well before the ninth inning and other headscratchers. The HTML option would allow the user to read the highlights from the test engine (including an intro showing where both teams were in the standings going into the game, and a summary showing their spots after it) and only click on the accompanying video for the most interesting ones while skipping past the ones of little interest.

For fictional leagues, this would help the user learn the big names in the league before actually playing the other teams.

(By the way: in GO right now if you cover the screen pre-pitch with the batter and pitcher ratings, you need to go back to field view before the game ends, or your highlights will cover the outfield with the batter and pitcher boxes throughout. Might want to fix that.)
