As expected, we picked up a ton of post season awards
Dave Clark, Tony Gwynn and pitcher Kevin Houston won Silver Sluggers, Mike Stanley and Candy Maldonado won Gold Gloves and Andy Araujo won the Cy Young.
Sigler obviously won the NL MVP with his 71 home runs. Palmeiro won ROY for the Giants with 42 HR's and a .290 average. In the AL, so many players hit the hell out of the ball, a dozen players could have made a case for MVP, but Barry Bonds won it with 61 HR and a .311 average. Andy McGaffigan won Cy Young going 21-9 with a 3.59 ERA and Kevin Appear won ROY going 18-10 with a 3.53 ERA.
The position of LF in the NL may be better than any position through 1987
