Started 3 rookies. Clint Hurdle at 1B, UL Washington at 2B, and Willie Wilson at CF.
All three would get votes for AL rookie of the year and Clint Hurdle would win AL Rookie of the year.
Had a tight race with with the Rangers and A's until the end of August when the A's fell off then the Rangers fell away and we had a 92 win season and Al West title.
We would face the Baltimore Orioles in the best of 5 ALCS.
