I enjoy both the GM and field manager roles. It's rewarding to make deals and promote rookies and see them work out. But my favorite part of the game is the strategy of managing, inning-by-inning.

The problem is that it takes a long time for me to complete a single season. Part of that is time spent on Spring Training, worrying over other teams rosters to make them competitive and to correct AI mistakes, and pursuing box scores from all teams. Plus it always takes me awhile to get the initial season setup right. All good.
