Managing every pitch is just too tedious for me. Personally I enjoy watching players grow and fall through the seasons. I sim day to day, a majority of my play is managing injuries, rosters, signings, etc etc. I really like watching my prospects develop, or the rare free agent breakout or using that veteran for one more playoff push before retirement.
Playing every game would annoy me because I’d want to win every one!
