Whale interest in the garbage Combis is down due to reduction in boost points, and the devs aren't going to let us quick-sell them for anything reasonable.
I do, however, have a solution! Rather than have a conversion/quick-sell in the next update, why not reduce the Combi minimum sale price to regular card quick-sell plus one? Combis can then fall to their supply-and-demand price points, and we won't get screwed losing thousands of PP in alleged value (which is part of an artificial Soviet-style pricing system anyway). Yes, there will be the danger that players will funnel Combis between their teams, but isn't it the devs' job to catch and punish funneling anyway?

I can tell you with absolute certainty that “The Whales” couldn’t care less about this. It doesn’t impact them in any way whatsoever.
People who didn’t want to use combinators wanted a way to get rid of them (and OOTP was never going to let them be quicked for the min sell price) and now people can. And some cases they de-evolve them and sell, say in the case of a terrible perfect that nobody will pay 100k for, you might be able to now sell it for 40k just because it’s in a mission.
The biggest issue in all this is that OOTP doesn’t seem to have a way to separate quicksell prices from min sell prices. What you’re seeing in combinators was never intended to be a quicksell price.
