I’m playing a fictional league on my iPad now and about halfway through season two. My 32 team setup (2 leagues, 4 divisions of 4 teams each) has only one team nickname that matches a current major league nickname, and every game so far has been played in the generic stadium except trips to that one team, where we play at Kaufman stadium (which will tell you what that team’s nickname is). I tried temporarily changing the nicknames for my team and a few others to MLB nicknames to see if I could get more stadium variety, but nothing has worked so far. Is there some point in the annual cycle where it might? Or some workaround to assign new ballparks to each team? Variety is a good thing, if it can be done.
