Game 1: 6-0 W. WP-Acosta (7-2, 5.2 2 0 0 1 9). HR-Hardy (8). Acosta was dominant and Victor Mesa was 2-3 with 2 RBI to lead the offense as the Rays extended their winning streak to 7.

Game 2: 2-1 W. WP-Stevenson (2-2, 5 3 1 1 1 3). S-R.Rodriguez (23). HR-Mesa (12). All the action in this one came in the first inning as Cincy got its run and 3 hits off Stevenson in the top of the inning and after the leadoff man reached for the Rays, Mesa homered in the bottom of the frame and it stood up for the duration.

Game 3: 13-2 W. WP-Eldridge (7-4, 5 4 2 2 4 5). HR-Caminero (11), Mesa (13), C.Williams (11). The Rays routed the Reds to complete their third straight series sweep and make it 9 wins in a row. Williams was 3-3 with a walk, homer and 5 RBI while Mesa hit a second-inning grand slam to give him an 8-RBI series.

Team record: 48-36. The sweep enabled us to move into first place in the AL East, a half-game ahead of the Yankees. Next up: Boston visits for 4 games.
