Started a historic game in 1895 and converted to random league with debut 1896-1900. Imported 20 rounds rookie draft to get all players that played 1896-1900 into league. Nap Lajoi, Honus Wagner, Cy Young etc. Their real stats showed their 1901-xxxx stats as expected.
The following spring I changed the debut years to 1901-2000.
This is when the problem shows up. Players that played late 1900 into the 2000s are only showing their real stats up to 2000 when they actually played until 2006, 2008, etc.. I played out 20 seasons and all players that played into 2000+ retired on their IRL year 2000 instead of playing until they did in their real life age.
So playing 1901-2000 the game was acting as though 2000 was end of stats/retirement age.
RAH and missed seasons as in real life are on.
I think David Watts is having the same issue and he starts his game completely differently than me. He may want to add something.
