What do you do to get ratings based on performance in the game? I am not aware of a way of doing this. Development has some starting point based on a few lines of OOTP code squinting at a name doesn't matter line of code for a kid ballplayer and comes up with a starting point. Subsequent ratings are random magical calculations that sometimes make Tim Foli a multi time batting champion and put him in the HOF.
At least that's the way I understand it. If I'm missing something I hope someone can explain it.
