Mac (2012 MacBook Pro)

OS is High Sierra (10.13.6)

Stand-alone v. 22-11 build 82

Was enjoying playing the game, and then the computer had a micro-crash (black screen for a few seconds, then restarted). However, now, instead of showing the start-up screen, the game is demanding that I purchase it (long since done) and when I attempt to activate it by using the serial number (which is still in the game's memory and shows up in the field), I get a message that simply says

"The game could not be activated" Help?

ETA: Okay, another micro-crash and this resolved itself. Which is good, but not the best outcome, I'm thinking.
