That sounds fun; trying to win a WS with each team. I've been usually playing 5-10 years with each sim, as I figured that was the usual life span with a GM. I was curious as to how long other people stay with a team, before moving on.
I usually do what you suggested and sim a decade into the future after I retire, to see how my farm system played out.
