Appreciate all the work that the devs do into this game. One issue I keep seeing is the AI's decision making...seems like in today's world with how "smart" AI can be, this stuff should be addressed or not happening.

Here's a good recent example. In historical mode, at trade deadline, Blue Jays trade Shannon Stewart #68 ranked prospect (having a good statistical year), straight up to St. Louis for Tom Pagnozzi. Pagnozzi is DFA'd, never plays, gets released 2 weeks later. Why & how could/would this ever happen? He was not hurt or anything. Just came to the org, & released.

I have everything on default EXCEPT slightly favor prospects is pushed one over (because I see stuff like this, quite often... maybe it's just historical? As that's basically all I play). Not sure if this would make any difference or not, but Ratings/Current Year/Last Year/2 Years ago is at 37/43/15/5. I don't think that should matter at all though, because it wasn't the trade itself... it was what happened after the trade. They value a player enough to trade a top prospect, and then just release him?
