The hitting streak of Philadelphia Thunder second baseman Ross Barnes has now reached 32 games, but it was not enough to secure a win as the Thunder fell 4-3 to the New York Saints. Barnes went 1-for-4, doubling in the 8th inning to keep his streak alive.

"Things went well for me personally," Barnes stated post-game. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game."

Barnes's performance included a flyout in the 1st, groundouts in the 3rd and 5th, a double in the 8th, and a walk in the 9th. Despite the loss, his season remains impressive with a .420 batting average, 58 hits, 22 RBIs, and 26 runs scored.

The defeat puts the Thunder's record at 16-15, while the Saints improve to 19-12.

Philadelphia Thunder third baseman Jim Clinton delivered a remarkable performance at Saints Park, going 5-for-5 against the New York Saints. Despite his stellar effort, the Thunder still fell short, losing 4-3.

"It's a shame that we lost the game," Clinton remarked. "It's really hard to enjoy what I did. You would think 5 hits would do it."

Clinton's hits included singles in the 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 10th innings, and a double in the 7th. His efforts boosted his season stats to a .309 batting average, .320 on-base percentage, with no home runs and 17 RBIs over 31 games.

Though Clinton's individual performance was outstanding, the Thunder's loss places their record at 16-15, while the Saints advance to 19-12.
