Divisions are AL East, AL West, NL East & NL West.

AL East only plays AL East opponents. AL West only plays AL West opponents and so on.

7 games series, play each team in division for 1 series. Each team will play 98 games (14 * 7).

7 game series, format is a 2-3-2 series with a day off in between. Example of team A vs team B. 2 games in team A home, day off, 3 games in team B home, day off, 2 games in team A home. Day off before next series starts.

No All-Star game. Season starts in May. No rainouts.
