I'd mentioned in my original suggestion post about adding the 'Demand' column to the free agency list so that you could see each players initial contract demand WITHOUT having to begin the negotiation interaction with them. It would save a lot of time, clicks and headaches (because once you've opened the neg, you can't back out without upsetting the player).
It would also be great to get this column added to the 'Upcoming Free Agents' tab both for your org and for the league, like in the screenshot below. I'd love to look at my own guys and see what they want initially, so I can get a gauge of who I want to bring back without clicking into each one, beginning the negotiation process then either backing out or whatever.
It would also allow you to sort by dollar amount, how useful would that be? Into the Upcoming FA tab and you can see which rentals want reasonable extension demands so you can decide if it's worth giving up that extra pick for him or not. This is akin to having negotiations with a players agent in real life, teams and GMs would want and need this information to be better decision makers.
