July - St Louis Blues News
St. Louis Blues announce the signing of LW Jaden Schwartz.
The club announced today that it has signed a deal with young free agent Left Winger Jaden Schwartz. The club signed him to his entry-level contract of 3 years $783,750 AAV.
"The Blues have shown a lot of faith in me, and I am hoping to be able to step up for them." Schwartz said.
"Jaden has proved he is worth every penny of his contract. He really stood out to us in Juniors. He scored 55 points last season in his 44 games, as well as 51 points in 43 games the season prior. Jaden will have an opportunity at the big club next season, but we will more than likely see him in the AHL. He would get the ice time and power play opportunity to develop his craft". GM Zack Meyer was quoted saying after the signing announcement.
