Because the AI makes nonsensical decisions sometimes, I would like to correct that sometimes. Or ensure that my top prospect is getting decent minutes. For the most part, Im fine with the way the coaches manage rosters but there's constantly little annoyances I wish I could correct.
For example in my current save, the coach keeps scratching my first line RW, he's at 100% fit and performing well, but the last three seasons he seems to lose about 20 games due to being scratched. He has legendary chemistry with my first line center, good chemistry with my second line center and legendary with my second line left wing.
Then my team's top prospect who is 3rd on the LW depth chart is only playing every second game or so and always on the 4th line.
Thankfully the goalie rotation seems to be better in FHM10, my 4.5 star starter isn't playing behind the 2 star backup because he had a few bad games to start the season.
There is a commissioner mode in the game, where I can bring whoever I want to my team and pay them whatever I want, I can turn the worst player in the world into Gretzky 2.0. It seems silly that I can't stop my coach from scratching my top RW. I converted to FHM7 from EHM and haven't looked back, some of the few things I missed from EHM have been added to FHM over the years but being able to have a HC and still make roster tweaks is the one im still missing.
