As far as Future Legends...
Sporer is a true believer, like most people in MLB front offices now. Today's players are the greatest who've ever played the game, and top-100 prospects are the best investments in your portfolio. That's what they believe. It might actually be true, but it's making for a rather lopsided PT25.
I've opened a few thousand packs at this point, usually between 10 and 20 per day. I'm now holding 91 historical Gold and Diamond cards that aren't in a mission (excluding the toppers) while the game's Card Gods are busy with Future Legends Past and Present. No Negro League sets. No Build-a-Lineup. As a result, lots of missionless cards unless you're lucky enough to have one that makes it into a Future Legend set.
It gets awfully frustrating to pull a historical Diamond and realize that Live Kyle Tucker and Clay Holmes are selling for three times as much as you can get for the all-too-typical missionless Diamond. In fairness, some of the Diamonds have been added to missions lately; but the Golds are lagging behind, and I'm not selling for insulting bids like 1050 PP. Nor am I selling a historical Silver for just over 100 PP.
We need some missions for these cards, and soon. If not, we'll be at the All-Star break and refocusing on Live cards and some form of All-Star Heroes set instead of historical missions.
