Myself and another GM are Co-Commisioners so we have redundancy and ensure our sims are always run at the scheduled days.
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Saturday-Sunday sim dates (offseason daily)
Notable points:
1) We have just expanded 2 teams (Montreal and Carolina) and re-aligned divisions to 4 divisions of 8 with 2 division winners and 4 WC qualifying from each league.
2) We shut off scouting discoveries and make an IAFA pool 600 players. Teams can trade IAFA Budget space (to a max of $8 mil per team) to create a more realistic July IAFA signing period.
3) Scouting settings are changed from default, here the ratings are 100% based on talent and not 65% talent and 35% stats (OSA also set to low accuracy) so in effect, scouts are ALWAYS more accurate than OSA which is now relegated to Baseball America level of accuracy where its way behind the actual reports for the most part. Also, because its based 100% on player talent any player developments or nerfs are recognized instantly once your scout is able to get a new report which causes more volatility especially with amateur players. (Random Talent Change is set to 1.000)
We are in need of a new Astros GM. We were unable to find a replacement while we were still on 24 for last season so the team was just treading water but now that we have switched to 25 we are hoping to find a long term solution heree.
